About Us.
SR Architects Sdn Bhd was incorporated in September 2019 and received its corporate practice license from Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) in January 2020.
Our journey began in 2014 as a design lab offering creative solutions to clients. The team, formerly known as Skala Reka, has since evolved—bringing along our core values, credentials, and a portfolio of signature works.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of working with numerous reputable brands across the country. In our growth, we’ve also collaborated closely with affiliate and associate partners to strengthen our presence in the industry.
The year 2020 marked a turning point, as we stepped beyond our beginnings to realize our true potential. What started as a small design lab is now a full-fledged architectural firm—ready to help you realize your vision and bring it to life.

Our Philosophy.
At SRA, we stay grounded in our design fundamentals before shaping any concept into a form of art. This ensures that every end product is not only visually impactful but also functional and sustainable.

Our Culture.
We cultivate a culture of continuous learning among our lab members to ensure they stay highly responsive to the ever-evolving world of design. We embrace cross-disciplinary learning, with topics extending beyond architecture.
In addition to short courses and public discourse participation, we host our own in-house knowledge-sharing sessions—Skala Share. Inspired by the “Pecha Kucha” method, each speaker is given 10 minutes and 10 slides to share knowledge or experience. Speakers include both internal team members and invited external guests.
At SRA, knowledge is king, and data is oil.
